Victor Knaap, co-founder Monks

One of the world’s top 100 digital marketers, according to The Drum, Victor Knaap joined Monks in 2003. He has helmed the company’s expansion across continents and areas of expertise ever since. Under his direction, Monks joined S4Capital in 2018 and since has grown into one of the most successful digital companies in the globe. Their work for brands and tech companies has been recognized by advertising and craft awards around the world, being awarded Adweek’s inaugural AI Company of the Year, Campaign’s Digital Innovation Company of the Year, Webby’s Digital Studio of the Year as well as winning over 300 FWAs and 131 Cannes Lions to date.

In addition to his business acumen, Victor’s a sought-after speaker, opinion leader, investor, and philanthropist. He proudly passes his knowledge on to the next generation of digital entrepreneurs and supports initiatives enabling access to digital education. Victor supports the charity 100WEEKS, NL2025’s mentoring program, and occupies a seat on the advisory board member of IAB NL, which is the independent trade association for digital advertising and marketing innovation. Through his involvement with Dutch Digital Design, he promotes the visibility of the best Dutch digital work.
